Front of House Staff

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in restaurant service. This role involves crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional guest services, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. A successful front of house will not only possess excellent communication skills but also demonstrate the ability to upsell menu items effectively.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments.
• Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods, ensuring prompt service without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
• Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills, enabling effective prioritisation of tasks during peak hours.

Pay: £12.22-£14.50 per hour
