Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation as required, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Ensure the front of house area is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times.
- Cover other shifts as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Experience in catering or serving roles is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.50 per hour
