Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Support bartending duties as needed, including mixing drinks and serving beverages.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Assist in catering events as required, ensuring high standards of service are maintained.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others, enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not mandatory.
