Overview
We are seeking effervescent and experienced Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team in the fantastic Westend area of Glasgow. We are a charming and atmospheric Scottish Bar and Restaurant looking to fill multiple roles including full time and part time roles. Our priority is 100% customer facing so if you are passionate about hospitality and want to work in a restaurant and bar with fabulous home made food using only the best Scottish products with some mouthwateringly good cocktails we would love to hear from you. Your responsibilities will include, meeting and greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drink and ensuring everyone leaves having had the best experience possible. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, however if you are the right fit personality wise we would to hear from you as all else can be trained.
Duties
- Welcome and greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Provide bartending services, mixing drinks and serving beverages in accordance with established recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Confidence in delivering whisky tasting to guests, and a small information pack about produce to certain functions.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Experience in catering services or bartending will be considered a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and an eagerness to learn are highly valued traits for this role.
