Destination is an award winning, family run, Indian restaurant. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires individuals who are passionate about food and beverage service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle catering requests and assist with event setup when necessary
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in catering or serving roles is an advantage
- Experience of working behind a bar is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
