HOURS OF DUTY: We offer flexibility in your working life at Colemans and we do our best to ensure we support requests for time to undertake your hobbies, interests and ambitions outside of working hours. We operate 7 days a week, on a shift rota basis but working hours are daytime and only occasionally, an evening shift is required if we are hosting a seasonal event for the Colemans retail complex. We currently need employees that can work mid-week shifts as well as weekend availability.
RATE OF PAY: Agreed at time of employment, depending on age.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are a busy and expanding restaurant within the Coleman’s Garden Centre complex, with a vibrant team working towards our ethos of ‘The Coleman’s Way’.
You will greet and engage with guests to ensure their visit and dining experience is excellent as per our standards of expectation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greeting guests and looking after our customers while they dine.
· Take menu orders using an EPOS till system.
· Providing guests with menu information and answering any initial questions regarding allergens, daily specials and any other cooking preparation details.
· Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
· Responding to complaints and referring any issues/feedback to your Supervisor/Catering Manager.
· In depth knowledge of the menu.
· Clearing and cleaning of tables and the service areas to The Coleman’s Standards.
· Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
· Providing a great customer service.
· Represent Coleman’s Garden Centre and Restaurant during your shift and act responsibility at all times.
· Wear the correct uniform at all times during your shift.
· Withhold all legal needs pertaining to allergen management and legal selling of alcohol.
· Attend department meetings and training sessions as instructed by your Supervisor/Catering Manager.
HOST REQUIREMENTS:
· GSCE Maths and English, or equivalent required.
· Ability to provide top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
· A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all centre staff.
· Ability to work as part of a team providing a high-quality of work while unsupervised as needed.
· Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
· Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
· Undertaking and reasonable job-related task requested by your Supervisor or Catering Manager.
· Follow all company policies, practises and procedures as laid out in the Coleman’s Employee Handbook.
