Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Helping clear kitchen porter when needed.
- Maintain an organised front of house area, including the bar and dining spaces.
- Participate in catering events as required, contributing to the overall success of the service.
- Help us maintain fabulous feedback from customers.
Skills
- Previous experience in restaurant settings is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude towards helping colleagues and guests alike.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices is a plus, particularly in catering environments.
