As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Assist with seating arrangements and ensure guests are comfortable.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide information about menu items, including specials and dietary options.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly.
- Support bartending staff during busy periods by assisting with drink preparation as needed.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a catering, restaurant, or hospitality role is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Experience in food preparation or bartending is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
