Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable. This role requires a passion for the catering and restaurant industry, as well as a strong commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction. As a small family run bar and restaurant, the role may be diverse, incorporating both bar and front of house. Shifts are mostly weekend evenings and Sunday daytime, but some others may be available, including at our sister sites.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Support bartending duties when needed, including mixing drinks and serving beverages.
Skills
- Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player mentality with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
- Basic bartending skills are an advantage but not essential.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service is essential.
