About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our busy car service and repair centre. You will welcome customers, handle enquiries, manage bookings, and support the wider team with administrative and organisational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers on arrival, providing excellent customer service
- Manage incoming telephone calls and email enquiries
- Schedule and update service/repair bookings in our records system
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
- Keep the front-of-house area clean, tidy, and professional
- Assist with the organisation and coordination of daily workflow and job schedules
- Liaise with the management team to ensure smooth service delivery
- Support general administrative tasks as required
Skills & Requirements
- Previous reception or customer service experience (preferably in automotive or service-based environment)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking ability
- Proficient with computers, email, and booking/record-keeping systems
- Professional, approachable, and customer-focused manner
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment
