The Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Front of House Team Member to join our growing team. You’ll be the face of Deepdale Café – welcoming guests, serving food and drinks, and ensuring everyone has a memorable visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner
- Take orders at the counter or tables using our POS system
- Prepare and serve drinks (barista experience is a bonus, but training provided)
- Deliver food and drinks to tables and ensure excellent service throughout
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the front of house area
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
- Handle payments accurately and responsibly
- Support your teammates and help keep the café running smoothly during busy periods
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for great customer service
- Friendly, reliable, and a good communicator
- Able to work well in a team and under pressure during busy times
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not essential
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
