Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Front of House Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will play a crucial part in managing staff, coordinating food production and preparation, and upholding food safety standards while fostering a positive team environment.
Duties
- Assist in managing front of house operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Supervise and train staff in hospitality best practices, food production, and food preparation techniques.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support team management by scheduling shifts, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering teamwork.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure the front of house area is clean, organised, and welcoming at all times.
- To undertake any reasonable duties as request by the hotel management team or designated line manager
- To support the food and beverage department as required in serving and supporting guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: £22,880.00-£28,000.00 per year
