Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Yard environment. The Job will be based on a daily split shift start time approx 5.30am - 6.30am until 10.30 am, then 15.00pm - 19.00pm, a split shift bonus is also paid on top of wage and over time sometimes available This role is essential for ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of goods from Double Deck Trailers onto Vans and HGV's
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification is preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach to safety, with a commitment to following established protocols.
