Moseley Golf Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team.
We're looking for a motivated and hands-on leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clubhouse bar. While this role includes broader F&B responsibilities, it is primarily focused on the bar. The ideal candidate will be an expert in bar management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent service to our members.
This is a keyholder position, so trust and responsibility are paramount. You'll report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and play a vital role in ensuring our bar operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bar Operations: Oversee all aspects of daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Cellar Management: Take full responsibility for cellar management, including line cleaning, stock rotation, and maintaining a high standard of draught product quality.
- Stock Control: Manage stock checks, conduct regular inventories, and handle all ordering to ensure the bar is consistently well-stocked.
- Team Leadership: Train, supervise, and motivate junior bar staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Member Service: Provide a high level of professional and welcoming service to our members and their guests.
- Hygiene & Safety: Uphold and enforce the highest standards of bar hygiene, cleanliness, and health and safety.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a bar leadership or supervisory role.
- Valid Personal Licence is essential.
- Demonstrable cellar management expertise.
- Strong understanding of stock control and ordering processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to solve problems independently.
