Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Flex Forklift Driver to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Flex forklift to safely move, store, and retrieve goods, as well as using handheld scanning equipment to accurately put pallets away, pick cases, and maintain stock integrity. Attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Flex forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Use handheld scanning equipment to record movements, put away pallets, and pick orders accurately.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Carry out case picking and pallet building in line with order requirements.
- Ensure stock is stored in the correct locations and rotated as per company standards.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy to ensure order and inventory integrity.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Valid Flex forklift truck licence .
- Proven experience operating a Flex forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Experience using handheld scanners for putaway and picking processes.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.40-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
Work Location: In person
