We are seeking a reliable and skilled Counterbalance Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles to transport goods between locations safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping and receiving documentation.
- Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues for repair.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including materials handling and organisation of stock.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in using a warehouse management system for tracking inventory.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Experience in materials handling, ensuring safe lifting techniques are applied.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred for operating warehouse machinery.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding operational processes.
- Strong ability to load and unload goods effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for accurate record keeping and inventory management.
