Job Description: We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Gymnastics Coach to lead fun, safe, and skill-building afterschool classes for children. This role offers significant flexibility – you choose which weekdays (Monday-Friday) you work between the hours of 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate gymnastics lessons for afterschool programs. Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, focusing on safety, proper technique, and fun. Supervise and ensure the safety of all participants at all times. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment. Communicate effectively with the children. Set up and maintain equipment safely.
Qualifications: Proven Coaching Experience - Minimum 1 year of experience coaching gymnastics to children (recreational level required; competitive experience a plus). Own Reliable Transportation Essential: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to different afterschool program locations within your local area. Flexible Availability: Ability and willingness to commit to coaching on your chosen weekdays between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM (Minimum commitment of 2 days per week preferred). Strong understanding of gymnastics fundamentals and safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children. Ability to pass a background check.
