Role Overview
As a Gymnastics Coach at Norbury Gymnastics Academy, you will lead and support engaging sessions for children, ensuring that every gymnast feels safe, challenged, and celebrated. You’ll bring energy, patience, and technical skill to the role creating an environment where gymnasts can enjoy learning and progressing.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured gymnastics sessions for recreational and/or advanced levels
Create a positive and inclusive environment where all children feel encouraged
Teach and spot key gymnastics skills safely and progressively
Monitor gymnast development and provide constructive feedback
Ensure a strong focus on safeguarding and health & safety in all sessions
Support at events, displays, or competitions as required
Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff to maintain high standards
What We’re Looking For
Level 1 or 2 British Gymnastics or equivalent in Coaching Qualification (or working towards it)
Experience coaching children and young people in a gymnastics setting
Strong communication skills and a positive, encouraging coaching style
A proactive, reliable team player who shows initiative
Up-to-date DBS check (or willing to obtain one)
First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willing to complete)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£25.00 per hour
