The Role:
We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Assembly & Test Technician to join our Engineering Team!
As an Assembly & Test Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, precise, and high-quality assembly and testing of fuel and oil bypass valves and associated aerospace components. This is a hands-on engineering role in a clean, safety-critical environment, supporting the production of equipment used in next-generation commercial aircraft.
You'll work to tight tolerances, follow aerospace quality standards, and carry out both mechanical assembly and performance testing using industry-grade rigs and tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and testing of heat exchangers including pressure relief valves
- Conduct airflow, water flow, and pressure testing on completed units
- Perform simulation testing using advanced flow rigs to replicate aircraft performance
- Operate various testing systems, including:
- Water tank pressure testing to detect leaks
- Hydraulic and pneumatic rigs for oil and fuel flow testing
- Flush rigs and secondary test stations for full-cycle verification
- Record and report results accurately in compliance with aerospace industry standards
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance in all activities
Skills:
- Previous experience in automotive or aerospace, precision manufacturing, or engineering assembly/test
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with fluid systems or valve assemblies
- Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable working with hydraulic and pneumatic testing systems
- Be a problem solver and team player with a proactive mindset, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
