Are you passionate about helping people move more, feel better, and achieve their health and fitness goals? Join the Grove Health and Fitness team—a community-focused hub dedicated to supporting wellbeing and improving lives across East Devon. We’re looking for a motivated and personable Fitness & Wellbeing Coach who’s ready to deliver positive, engaging experiences and empower every member to reach their potential.
Your Role & Impact
- Empower Members: Support our Fitness & Wellbeing Lead in creating a safe, effective, and motivating environment across our Health and Fitness Studio.
- Personalised Coaching: Conduct individual fitness MOTs, deliver tailored training programmes, and offer ongoing advice on exercise, nutrition, and injury prevention.
- Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding service—answering queries, solving problems, and ensuring every member feels welcome and valued.
- Programme Development: Research and propose new health and fitness initiatives to keep our offerings fresh and responsive to community needs.
- Promotion & Engagement: Assist with marketing activities, deliver informative tours for prospective members, and help secure new memberships.
- Operational Excellence: Support member retention through effective use of TRP and Journey Trackers, maintain gym equipment, and uphold strict compliance with health and safety standards.
- Professional Growth: Support instructor development through our Pro Zone training, and, if qualified, bring energy to group exercise classes.
About You
- Enthusiastic about health and fitness with a positive, proactive approach.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Organised, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow
