Capital Fire Doors is on the lookout for skilled, self-employed Fire Door Inspectors to support our expanding portfolio of projects. If you’re experienced, reliable, and passionate about fire safety, we’d love to hear from you!
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking individuals who meet the following criteria:
✅ Proven experience as a Fire Door Inspector
✅ Strong understanding of fire door compliance and regulations
✅ Familiarity with BM TRADA Approved Repair Techniques desirable
✅ Or FDIS, FIRAS, or equivalent certification/training
✅ Valid Enhanced DBS check (issued within the last 2 years)
✅ CIS registered
✅ Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
✅ Own smartphone or tablet for inspections and reporting

Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of fire doors and associated components.
- Maintain accurate records of findings in-line with BM TRADA Q-Mark Approved Repair Techniques.
- Identify defects or non-conformities and communicate these issues to relevant departments.
- Assist in the development of inspection protocols and procedures.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of BM TRADA's practices.
