About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Door Fitter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fire door installation, with a proven track record of working to BM TRADA and FIRAS certification standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality, compliant fire door installations across a variety of commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain fire doors in accordance with BM TRADA and FIRAS standards
- Conduct fire door inspections and remedial works
- Ensure all work is compliant with current fire safety regulations and best practices
- Accurately complete installation and compliance documentation
- Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience fitting fire doors
- BM TRADA and/or FIRAS accreditation
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Full UK driving license
- Bolster experience
