We’re seeking a confident, proactive Sales Consultant (Appointment Setter) to join our high-performing team in Chelmsford.
Summary
As an Appointment Setter you will play a vital role in driving our business growth by connecting with potential clients and scheduling sales appointments. This position is key to our mission of helping financial advisers thrive in their business.
This is a hands-on, phone-first, people-focused role. You’ll be speaking to financial professionals every day, reaching out via phone, social media, and email to build relationships and book them in for a 15-minute initial call (Growth Audit) with the goal of booking a sales conversation with our Senior Consultant.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Completing 3–5 Growth Audit calls per day
- Calling warm leads who’ve engaged with our content, downloaded resources, or attended webinars
- Reaching out via LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp to start natural, consultative conversations
- Using our CRM (ActiveCRM) to manage leads and keep everything updated
- Following up on DMs, opt-ins, quizzes, Scorecards, and more, all tracked in one CRM system
- Collaborating with our marketing team to report lead feedback and improve messaging
- Helping to confirm attendance for webinars and other events
- Progressing over time to find and nurture your own leads
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in sales or telemarketing roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
- You’re confident on the phone and comfortable making outbound calls
- You’ve got experience in telesales, business development, or appointment setting
- You enjoy helping people solve problems and aren’t afraid to ask good questions
- You’re proactive, energetic, and happy to work in a fast-paced office
- You’re curious, keen to learn about business, sales, and the financial services industry
- You’ve got strong written and verbal communication skills
- You’re hungry for growth and career progression

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
