We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Financial Office Assistant to join our corporate services and finance team. This part-time role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of financial and administrative processes within a dynamic, inclusive, and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation
- Support the annual audit process and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage petty cash and maintain adherence to internal financial policies
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support financial operations
- Contribute to general office administration and process improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounts administration
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and excellent IT proficiency
- Effective communicator with strong organisational skills
- Able to work with discretion, confidentiality, and integrity
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (minimum requirement)
- Familiarity with Sage 50 or Xero is desirable, though not essential
