What you’ll be doing:
You will work as a Finance Team Leader for the BWB and CAF Group of companies, based in the Finance Shared Services Team. The role will focus on the day to day management of CAF Rolling Stock Purchase ledger and All Group Treasury functions. The transaction services are part of Finance Shared Service team delivering transaction and reporting services to multiple companies within the CAF Group. The role will ensure the delivery of quality service including accurate and timely services and adherence to strict deadlines across all BWB/CAF UK companies
- Responsible for the management of the transactional treasury and CAF Rolling stock purchase ledger team, including recruitment, mentoring and personal development.
- Responsible for the performance outputs of this team including the setting and measurement of targets, appraisal and performance processes.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external deadlines including information provision and reporting.
- Responsible for day-to-day business working capital management, including liaising with banks, internal treasury teams and external finance providers. Ensuring adherence to authorization matrices and facility limits.
- Assist with Processing CAF employee Expenses and Credit card.
- Contribute to the Group internal and external audit processes. Ensuring that retention of all records are in accordance statutory and legal requirements.
- Responsible for CAF Group Payments.
- Assist with Month end Process.
- Cover for the transactional roles when required.
- Responsible for reviewing cases of non-compliance or service delivery failure, making recommendations for process and administrative changes as required.
- Develop the ethos of continuous improvement, identifying improvement opportunities and managing implementations, setting objectives and monitoring progress to deliver improvements including working with the wider teams on continued process improvements.
- Demonstrate willingness and take a proactive approach to ongoing CPD, such as attendance at courses.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Experience of team Leader, managing, mentoring and development of team members.
- Experience working within a busy finance team, delivering to strict deadlines and being responsible for own reporting outputs is essential.
- You will have a friendly and approachable personality to fit well into the hardworking team and be able to communicate effectively with senior leaders of the business. Experience of working in a similar consulting industry would be advantageous.
- Experience of producing reports for external and internal stakeholders
- Advanced skills of Microsoft packages
- Sound organization and administration skills
- Ability to produce work that is accurate and timely
