The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and strong Finance Officer to work in our school alongside our experienced and friendly team. You will be an essential member of the administrative team and will contribute towards the smooth running of the school.
You will be primarily responsible for the provision of financial administration support and the accurate and expeditious recording of financial data in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective procurement of resources to ensure the principles of best value are maintained. The Finance Officer will also play a strategic role in assisting the Business Manager in identifying new procedures and managing associated project implementation to continually improve the effectiveness of the non-teaching side of the school’s operations.
The Finance Officer will receive training to enable them to undertake the essential and statutory duties of the School Business Manager to enable the school to meet its reporting obligations to the Trust, ESFA and the DfE in the absence of the Business Manager.
