We are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team on a fixed-term basis.
About the Role
This is a pivotal role responsible for producing high-quality, timely management reports and maintaining the accounting systems for the Trust and its Partner Schools. You’ll support financial planning, ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement across finance operations.
Key responsibilities:
· Produce accurate management reports and statutory returns
· Maintain accounting systems and processes
· Support budgeting and financial planning for schools and Trust departments
· Ensure compliance with VAT, Gift Aid, Payment Practices, and ONS reporting
· Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leaders
· Promote best practice and customer service across finance operations
About You:
- Experience in finance roles, including systems administration and financial controls
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills
