About the Role
A new opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join a growing organisation. This is a varied and hands-on finance role, perfect for someone with experience in transactional finance who’s looking to develop within a small, collaborative team. This will be for a 6 month period approximately initially with the possibility of a permanent position.
You’ll work across a range of finance functions including ledger management, reconciliations, and payroll support, while also contributing to wider administrative processes. Ideal for someone eager to grow their career in a mission-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day purchase and sales ledger activities
- Input financial data
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Maintain accurate records of petty cash and handle cash postings
- Assist with supplier payments and respond to invoice queries
- Support monthly payroll input and timesheet tracking
- Provide support during audits and year-end processing
- Perform ad hoc finance and admin tasks as required
You Will Need
- Good understanding of purchase and sales ledger processes
- Solid working knowledge of Excel and MS Office tools (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Accuracy and attention to detail when handling data and transactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet regular deadlines
- Trustworthy, organised, and confident
- A team-oriented approach with a willingness to support across departments
