We are looking for a full-time Finance Assistant, on a permanent contract based at our Head Office at Newcastle Business Park.
Job duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Posting cash and allocating receipts on Sage Line 50
- Raising sales invoices
- Preparing and reviewing debtors reports to discuss with the MD
- Proactively chasing aged debtors, by telephone and email
- Providing statements to clients on a timely basis
- Reconciling month-end sales to individual branch reports
- Assisting with other accounting duties, as and when required
The desirable candidate will be:
- Confident using Sage Line 50
- Experienced with credit control
- A self-motivated individual who can work well in a small Accounts team
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
