Join the PQA Wirral Team – Film & TV Assistant Wanted!
PQA Wirral is a weekend performing arts academy for 6–18-year-olds, offering training in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre, and Film & TV. With four thriving academies running every Friday and Saturday, we’re now looking to add to our team.
We’re currently seeking a Film & TV Assistant to support our Saturday morning academy at Upton Hall School (CH49 6LJ), running 9:45am–1:00pm.
About the Role
You’ll assist in delivering 3 engaging Film & TV classes each week, helping students explore acting for screen, screenwriting, directing, camera work, sound, lighting, and more – using professional kit like the Canon C100.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Aged 18+
- Technically confident and passionate about Film & TV
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive with young creatives
- Ideally a driver and within commutable distance of Upton Hall School
- Background in film (education or experience) preferred
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who’s eager to gain hands-on experience in a fun, creative environment.
Pay: £40 per session

At PQA Wirral, as well as our weekly classes, we take students to perform on the West End stage, screen their films in local cinemas, submit work to film festivals, and more.
