Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with Independent Retailers/Newsagents/Coffee shops. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential in promoting and selling our products and achieving sales targets. This position requires excellent time management skills and a strong organisational ability to manage your geographical territory efficiently. A full manual driving licence is required for the role.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively seeking and identifying new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Conduct and deliver a regular and reliable service to customers
- Confidently present new products to existing and potential new customers in a compelling and informative manner highlighting their benefits.
- You'll be responsible to close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Collaborating with the sales team to share feedback and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback using IT systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
- Highly motivated with a drive to achieve and succeed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Field/Van sales role with an existing client knowledge database is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively while on the road.
- Proficient IT skills for managing customer databases and reporting tools.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple accounts and schedules efficiently.
- A positive attitude, persistence, and a target-oriented approach are crucial for success.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate persuasively.
- A valid driving licence is required as travel within the designated territory is essential.
