Field Care Supervisor, with Minster Home Care

This role consists of providing personal care and companionship services to clients in the York area.
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will work with specific clients and develop a professional bond with them and their family, which is an extremely rewarding and vital role to maintain a clients independence. This is a leadership role, which will involve you assisting other members of staff and leading by example, as well as ensuring our staff are competent by conducting random spot checks.
Please note that weekend working will be required with this role, as will evenings in order to assist with on call duties.

What does working as a Field Care Supervisor involve?
- Providing Personal Care & Companionship services
- Helping clients in and out of bed
- Supporting clients with hobbies and activities
- Providing a range of non-medical services
- Helping support your peers when they are providing care, both on call and out in the field yourself.
- Ensuring our staff are competent in administering medication to our clients, and that they are moving & handling them in an appropriate manner.
What happens when I start working at Minster Home Care?
Before you meet any of our clients, you will attend an induction at our office and a moving and handling training course, as well as being coached on how to operate various IT systems in order to prepare for supporting our staff when on call. You are paid for all training.
