Reports to : Registered Care Manager/ Deputy Care Manager
Core times working below which will rotate two weeks.
Monday to Friday
Field Care Hours Monday – Friday 08:00-12:30 22.5 hrs per week
Field Care Hours Monday – Friday 12:30 -17:30 25.5 hrs per week
Summary of role: Responsible for implementing field-based quality control systems and providing support to all Care Assistants within the Plymouth area. Within the job role Field Care Supervisors are required to have a flexible approach to work patterns / schedules.
You may be required to vary your hours of work to effectively monitor and support all Care Assistants and clients.
Principal responsibilities
· To carry out Individual Needs Assessments for new clients.
· To conduct client risk assessments as part of the Individual Needs Assessment and update as required.
· To ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in clients’ homes.
· To conduct client reviews and monitor all aspects of service delivery.
· To carry out introductory visits with Care Assistants and new clients.
· To facilitate the practical induction of all new Care Assistants.
· To facilitate in-field training when required and identify any additional training needs of Care Assistants.
· To monitor, supervise and mentor all Care Assistants in the field.
· To ensure that all written reports and administration is accurate and up to date.
· Utilise Access Care Planning and People Planning software
· To answer telephone enquiries when in the office and log calls on Sharepoint.
· The role will also involve some On- Call duties, working on a rota pattern covering 08:00am -11:00am on weekends as back up support to the main on call person.
· To assist with permanent allocation of Care Assistants to all client visits and ensure all visits are covered
· To ensure client and Care Assistant office files and electronic records are kept up to date at all times.

Pay: £14.00 per hour
