We've got a rewarding opportunity for a caring individual to support a fun-loving young person living in their family home in Bracebridge Heath. This person has complex clinical needs, a communication disorder and Body dystonia but this does not define them. More interestingly they love to watch Ant and Dec and The Wiggles. To make the most of trips out and about, we need people who are local to Bracebridge Heath and know the area, and can drive a car, holding a full UK Driving Licence.

Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:

  • Previous care experience
  • Complex care beneficial

We can offer full training for the right candidate, in order to successfully support this individual with her clinical needs, which include; administering medication, personal care, PEG and JEJ feeding, oropharyngeal suctioning, mechanical ventilation and emotional support throughout the night.

What will your shift involve?

In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your role is to support in meeting the medical, personal care, ventilation, suctioning and assistance needs during the night. You will work alone and as part of a team, operating on shifts to provide 24/7 care. You will not only support her clinical and emotional needs but be a reliable individual who can provide much needed respite for her parents.
