Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with dignity and kindness by helping with personal care such as washing, dressing
- Prepare and serve meals that nourish and bring comfort – sometimes it’s a cuppa and a chat
- Offer a steady hand and gentle encouragement with moving around safely
- Be a friendly, familiar face – someone to talk to, laugh with, or simply sit beside when company is needed
- Keep a caring eye on health and wellbeing, noticing and reporting any changes in how someone is feeling or behaving
- Work together with families and professionals, making sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to care
- Give medication safely and confidently, helping clients stay on top of their health with support and reassurance
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 6 months of care experience
- A calm, compassionate and patient approach
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Own transport is essential (due to travel between visits)
- Someone who’s reliable, friendly, and genuinely cares
