Job Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Fashion Print Designer for a three-month placement to support our design team during a busy period. This hands-on role offers valuable experience across design, print development, and production, with exposure to the complete creative process. The ideal candidate will be proficient in garment CADs, passionate about print, organised, and possess a proactive “can-do” attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and source inspiration for prints.
- Prepare repeat patterns and placement prints ready for production, including colour separations if required.
- Create factory-ready garment CADs in Adobe Illustrator.
- Recolour and amend prints based on feedback.
- Ensure all print files are production-ready and formatted correctly for suppliers.
- Maintain consistency of branding and print quality across designs.
- Support with design-related administrative tasks.
- Provide general studio assistance when required.
Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Skilled in creating Illustrator garment CADs.
- Strong knowledge of print techniques, including recolouring, cleaning, and creating repeats.
- Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and time management skills.

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £24,800.00-£26,000.00 per year
