Do you have an eye for detail and colour? Can you handle a paintbrush with finesse? If so, we may have the job for you.
We’re a busy textile print factory based in West London with both screen and digital print capability for fabric and wallpaper.
You’ll be assisting the inspection and despatch team and carrying out repair work on our printed fabric to a high standard to meet our customers’ exacting standards.
You’ll need to have proven artistic ability using paints and pens in fine detail and to be able to work at a pace to meet our deadlines.
You’ll be working as part of a small friendly team.
Job duties:
- Load and unload rolls of fabric & wallpaper to and from inspection tables.
- Carry out repairs on fabric & wallpaper prints as needed to agreed standards. This will include painting in missing print using fine paint brushes or pens, blowing out excess print and cleaning up any marks.
- Use of solvents under controlled conditions, you must adhere to any health and safety instructions, including use of PPE as instructed.
- Complete details of any repairs/approvals on job sheet and daily repair record.
- Prepare & package fabrics and wallpapers for despatch, when required.
- Ensure the tools used are kept clean and safe.
- Ensure the Inspection area is kept clean and tidy.
- Assist staff in other departments if & when required.
- Carry out any other tasks as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications and experience
- Must have proven artistic ability or experience in use of paints and pens particularly with fine detail.
- Minimum one year’s experience in touching up fabric print preferred.
- Minimum one year’s production experience in a busy environment preferred
- Knowledge of safe handling techniques preferred

Working hours
- 8.00 am to 4.00pm – 30 minutes for lunch. Overtime by arrangement.
Full training and support will be provided.
