The Role:
As a Fashion Writer Intern, you will be an integral part of FIZZY MAG's editorial team, working remotely in close collaboration with the Site Editor to lead our coverage of fashion. Given the online nature of FIZZY MAG, we seek applicants who possess a strong understanding of the digital landscape, excel under tight deadlines, and have a keen sense of upcoming streetwea and fashion trends.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is passionate about creating high-performing content and is enthusiastic about covering both established and up-and-coming designers and fashion trends. Additionally, they should have a unique tone of voice and the ability to generate fresh concepts for daily articles.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conceptualizing, producing, writing, or editing a minimum of 1 story per day.
Regularly pitching ideas for new articles.
Brainstorming concepts for viral content.
Overseeing the creation of questions for interviews.
Ensuring that published content aligns with the FIZZY MAG brand.
Representing FIZZY MAG at events when appropriate.
Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled in a university.
Preference given to journalism students.
Experience in writing for digital, print, or social platforms.
Fashion copywriting experience is a plus.
Exceptional skills in writing and presenting stories with a tone that is both snappy and conversational, while also being informative and accurate.
