Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Farm Workers. This role is essential for maintaining the productivity and efficiency of our agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for working outdoors, contributing to various farming tasks that ensure the smooth running of our farm.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labour as required for planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with irrigation tasks to ensure crops receive adequate water supply.
- Conduct basic equipment repair and maintenance to keep machinery in optimal condition.
- Engage in animal care, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring livestock health.
- Utilise basic maths skills for measuring quantities of seeds, fertilisers, and other materials needed for farming activities.
- Participate in gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, and harvesting produce.
Experience
- Previous experience in a farming or agricultural environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to farm equipment is preferred.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to farming practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
