The Opportunity:
We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic customer-focused Assistants to join our dynamic team at Eleven Bibury. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges, and where delivering excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we do then we are looking for you.
You will play a key role in helping us meet store targets, processing transactions efficiently while showcasing your in-depth product knowledge and promoting current offers. Your role will include maximising sales opportunities by matching Post Office Products services to customers, assisting with queries and upselling Farm Shop products to the customers. Your ability to seamlessly switch between roles and handle both the Farm Shop and Post Office will be key to your success.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high profile, growing business that attracts both local customers and tourists from all around the world. The Farm Shop / P.O Assistant is an important role within our dynamic team and, if required, you will receive comprehensive Post Office training and on-going support from day one so previous Post Office experience is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service at the Post Office Counter, assisting with a variety of services, including mail, packages and financial transactions. Manage cash ensuring compliance with Post Office procedures and security measures.
- Ensure counters are well stocked and the work area is always clean and secure.
- Able to work flexible hours and help cover shifts if needed.
- A great multitasker and able to adapt easily to the task needed.
- Ensure correct packaging and labelling of parcels, following postal regulations.
- Excellent product knowledge with a positive and approachable manner.
- Adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas and processes.
- Build rapport with customers to ensure a positive experience and encourage repeat business.
- Handle difficult or escalated customer situations with professionalism, maintaining a calm and solutions-orientated approach.
- Assist with stock ordering, replenishment and inventory management for the Post Office and Farm Shop.
- Monitor and review sales trends and suggest improvements to increase revenue / profits.
- Work to achieve individual and store wide targets, maximising opportunities to upsell and cross sell.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
