Do you have a background working with families and able to be flexible with the hours you work? Join our team of family time contact supervisors !
Ready for a new chapter in your career? Become part of the East Sussex team, we are a family run company offering a comprehensive training induction and ongoing support from your colleagues and the centre manager
Family Time also known as child contact services provide children with the opportunity to spend quality time with a parent and/or relative not living with them in a safe, neutral environment. The children we work with may be living with a parent, an extended family member or foster carers. As a Family time contact supervisor you would be supervising these sessions and writing reports afterwards.
Candidates must also be willing to undertake child transport taking children from school or foster placements to and from contact sessions, so business use is needed on your car insurance if successful.
Candidates must be willing to work regularly at both our Eastbourne and Hastings contact centres and the East Sussex community. Travel time and mileage is paid for all work other than at the closest contact centre to your home.
Candidates need to be flexible and have regular availability as families would be allocated to them. This would need to include working during and after school hours and/or supervising sessions on a weekend (although no necessarily Saturday and Sunday ). We are very busy currently so need people with the time to take on several sessions a week.
Before applying please be aware that although these are employed roles due to the demand-driven nature of our work, all positions are Zero-Hour Bank roles, with no minimum weekly hours guaranteed as frequency of sessions varies according to each family, however the more flexible you can be the more work tends to be available.
