Recognised for our innovation and investment, this is a fantastic opportunity to join children and young people’s services to drive forwards the new reforms as part of the Families First Programme. We are fully committed to implementing the government’s ambitions in family help and intervention services.
This is a pivotal role in reshaping Social Care and Early Help, ensuring seamless delivery of services for children. As our Families First Participation Lead, you will ensure the transformation is underpinned by genuine engagement and co-production with children and parent/carers, building on our strong reputation for working in partnership, as demonstrated in our recent local area SEND Inspection.
To lead and co-ordinate the participation work, you will bring passion and energy to the programme. The role will require excellent stakeholder relationship skills to build positive, trusting and co-operative partnerships with parents and carers with lived experience, those living in areas of high deprivation and those from diverse communities. You will bring experience of community work and project management, as well as knowledge of working within a public sector context, whilst demonstrating a passion and ambition to deliver the best services for the children, young people and families of our borough.
