Compliance Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join an excellent team and develop their career in corporate compliance. You will be involved in all aspects of our support services departments; for an ambitious individual, this role has huge growth potential and relevant training will be provided.

Opportunity is offered hybrid at our Stratford, London office. 2 days/week in office, 3 days from home.

Your role in our future

  • Provide administrative support to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) management systems across the UK & Ireland, and Central Europe & International Operations regions.

  • Work within an established Compliance team to achieve QHSE objectives.

  • Serve as the key contact for internal queries related to QHSE systems.

  • Assess compliance risks throughout the region.

  • Complete customer compliance/tender questionnaires by liaising with relevant departments.

  • Assist site management in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures.

  • Support internal audit programs and follow up on findings.

  • Ensure regular reporting and follow-up on non-conformities.

  • Coordinate with HR/IT/Facilities for new starter equipment and training.

  • Conduct new starter induction training.

  • Work with the Compliance Manager to raise QHSE awareness.

  • Assist in developing and improving QHSE KPIs across both regions.

  • Occasional travel across the region.

Your profile

  • Self-starter with a confident personality and high energy.

  • Excellent relationship building and management skills.

  • Strong organisation and time management skills.

  • At least one year of experience in a QHSE or Facilities admin/coordinator role is required.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and priorities.

  • Problem-solving attitude with initiative.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail, even in small tasks.

  • IOSH or other relevant H&S qualifications are desirable.
