We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our school buildings and grounds in Sutton Coldfield.
The Facilities Assistant role is a great starting point, with full support and training to help you grow and build a long-term career with us.
What you’ll do:
- Support school events and hires, ensuring everything is set up and secure.
- Provide support with maintenance activities and minor repairs to ensure our school facilities are maintained to a high standard..
- Work alongside a dedicated team to uphold health and safety practices.
- Participate in groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance to create a welcoming environment.
Hours and days of work:
- Rotating shift patterns, covering opening and closing on 06:00am – 14:00pm and 14:00pm – 22:00pm.
- You’ll work Monday to Friday and may be required to work the occasional weekend to cover for weekend colleagues.
