Polar Glaze Windows, Doors & Conservatories Ltd. is an independent family business dedicated to manufacturing and installing bespoke windows, doors, and conservatories. We proudly serve both residential and trade customers in the beautiful Dorset area.
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Fabricator to join our window and door manufacturing team based in Wareham. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative team environment, where each team member plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of windows and doors
- Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively
- Carry out a variety of fabrication tasks to meet production schedules
- Inspect finished products to ensure the highest standards of quality and finish
- Follow works order instructions
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth workflow and problem-solving
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in fabrication or manufacturing is preferred, but not essential – full training can be provided
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Full time position:
41 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 7.00am to 4.30pm & Friday 7am to 12 midday
28 days paid holiday which includes bank holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £22,386.00-£26,031.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
