About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fabricator to join their workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metalwork to specification, working from engineering drawings, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricating and assembling steel components from technical drawings.
- Using welding, cutting, and grinding equipment to produce quality fabrications.
- Working to precise measurements and tolerances.
- Ensuring work is completed on time and to required quality standards.
- Following all health & safety procedures in the workshop.
- Assisting with general workshop duties when required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.
- Skilled in MIG/TIG/ARC welding (Beneficial).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant qualifications or time-served in fabrication/welding.

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Luton LU4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
