Job description
We are looking for warehouse workers to join our picking & container unloading team to ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of our busy warehouse. The job is directly with the company not through an agency.
From loading/unloading containers, picking/packing of consumer goods, Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment,
Hours Monday -Friday 7.30 am – 4.30 pm , Plus Sunday 5 hours 9am-2pm on a Rota Basis (2 per month).
Responsibilities
Unloading of containers using conveyor belts
Operating Flt Counterbalance completing numerous Tasks.
Loading our own delivery vans.
Receiving and processing stock into the warehouse.
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship). Be able to use a pump truck
Preferred Skills
FLT counterbalance experience/license desirable
Must have 2 years warehouse experience
Ability to follow guidance and instructions set by management
Hard working, efficient, responsible, a fast learner, well organised and punctual
Willing to learn from management to properly apply company policy to customer solutions
Ability to communicate in English language and understand instructions
Location: Heywood
Driving license/vehicle preferred due to location but not essential
Job Types: Full-Time Permanent Role.
Salary : £12.50 per hour start
Satisfactory performance will result in further pay increases
Expected Hours :45-50 per week
