Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks in the front of house. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and bar equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary basics.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
- A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help guests enjoy their dining experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
