Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to tables and ensure guest satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or special requests
- Up-sell menu items and promote daily specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining area
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide help when needed
- Knowledge of basic math for accurate order taking and bill calculation
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and kitchen staff effectively
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
