About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Joiner with current FIRAS accreditation and proven experience in the social housing sector. You will install and maintain fire-rated doors, frames, and other joinery work in both occupied and void properties, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. You will also be responsible for recording and updating paperwork and issuing compliance certificates for completed works.
Main Duties
- Install and maintain FIRAS-approved fire doors, frames, and components.
- Carry out all aspects of joinery, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Work in occupied and vacant social housing properties.
- Record and update job paperwork accurately.
- Provide FIRAS compliance certificates upon completion of works.
- Ensure all work meets FIRAS and building regulations.
Requirements
- Qualified joiner with relevant experience.
- FIRAS accreditation (current).
- Previous work in the social housing sector.
- Ability to complete and maintain accurate records.
- Full UK driving licence.
